Spike was purchased from Lisa Reid (www.reidtowin.com) in the US, who owned him personally. Spike is a 2002 TB who came off the track at Charlestown, WV.

He is undoubtedly the most athletic horse Christan has ridden and they developed a very special bond.

Spike competed to the 3 star level and was injured in the paddock in the lead up to running the Adelaide 4 star. Sadly, he never returned to being ridden and he is now out with our baby horses, teaching them all his bad habits!
